Tej Shastri, Esq.

After being sworn in to practice law in 2015, Attorney Shastri went on to practice in the public sector. He served as an assistant state's attorney for the Winnebago County State's Attorney's Office and the Kane County State's Attorney's Office, prosecuting criminal and traffic offenses. Attorney Shastri handled every form of traffic citation you can think of. During this time, he gained extensive trial experience, conducting numerous bench and jury trials. He then transitioned to the private sector as an associate attorney. Now, with a wealth of trial experience, Attorney Shastri is dedicated to defending clients as their traffic attorney, with the insight and expertise gained from his prosecutorial background.

Shan Dev, Esq. - Appearance Counsel

Attorney Shan Dev is an independent Illinois-licensed attorney who serves as appearance counsel for The Traffic Defense Firm, appearing in court on the firm's behalf for traffic matters under the firm's direction. Attorney Dev is not a partner, employee, associate, or "of counsel" member of the firm.

Attorney Dev earned his law degree from DePaul University College of Law and brings extensive courtroom experience. As an experienced traffic lawyer, he works to secure favorable outcomes for the firm's clients in court.
